Abstract truth's a fine thing It's high as any sky But love lives on the sad earth  It's needed more than the proud answer to each and every why Philosophy's a strong thing Truth dispels every lie But poetry's a kind thing  It shows us how to cry  The mind's a star thing  To reach it we must fly But the heart walks on the earth  It's here where plain feet try Wisdom is a high thing  All reverence it is due But compassion is an equal thing  To shared humanity it's true  The Heart Walks on the Earth by Kristen and Ephraim C. Levine
A human why's what guides us God has left the sky Our own light's what defines us We ourselves must hear earth's cry A human why's what guides us Through our own sky we must fly God's heaven was a fine place  But heaven's now a place where people are born and die  A human why's what guides us People are part of time Eternity's a fine thing But knowing we are born and die is the thing that makes us kind God's heaven was a fine place But it stood a bit too high A human heaven is a kind place Where love and not pride shines God's heaven is all closed now  But heaven's open to those for whom caring's a seal That heaven is the earth below Earth's a heaven when we do not proudly think but mercifully feel A Human Why's What Guides Us  by Kristen and Ephraim C. Levine
The world we see's the world there is There's no other earth or sky But in the deeper mind we share The earth has taken kinder birth And there's a wiser sky In that new worid Our ideals reign and cynicism's died But for the mind that's not so deep The earth still weeps from cruelty  And there remain the same old whys Why is there suffering? Why do dreams have to die? Why do we treat each other as we do? Why must we walk? Why can't we fly? Our deeper mind is real There really is an earth that's kind Really a heaven's why  There's a Utopia within I swear it's here inside But the world we see's the world there is  There's no other earth or sky Utopia can't stay a thing within  We must build it with imperfect hands  And give it an outside  Beyond a Heaven's Why (✨) 🌍  by Ephraim C. Levine and Kristen
There's a me apart from all things The same is true of you There's a me, a you That to himself alone is true A self the world can't rule But there's no me apart from all things The same is true of you For there's a we That needs a you and me Though there are still we two There's a we apart from all things  That starts with me and you  And extends to every me and you Every friend and every stranger too Everyone of every hue Every shade and tint eyes ever knew We're one but are not few  A Wc Apart from All Things by Kristen's dolly and Ephraim C. Some colors aren't in the rainbow Some sounds don't meet the ear Some deep things we perceive inside  To the world just are not real But there's one thing that outer eyes and ears  Always can see and hear  Love's the brightest of all sights  Of sounds the one most clear  Some colors aren't in the rainbow  Be the hue you are, so rare  Some Colors Aren't in the Rainbow 🌈+ by Kristen and Ephraim C. Levine
There is a place among the stars But it's a place inside  It isn't Jupiter or Mars But a place on earth where ideals thrive .A place where cynicism no longer can pretend to be our guide  And our better qualities as human beings  Prevail, don't just survive There is a place among the stars But it's not far away It's wherever the shared human heart  Lets in the light of hope for a kinder, brighter day A Place Among the Stars ✨🌎  by Kristen and Ephraim C. They say humanity's a.rainbow And each of us is unique Some colors aren't even in the rainbow Your uniqueness is yours to keep Humanity includes your odd odd Uncle Jack And your weird Aunt Mary Your poor lcousin who lives in a shack And your funny brother Barry The one who seems to be from Mars  And the one who calls everyone "Dearie" The one who survives on Big Macs And the one who really can't think clearly  They say humanity's a rainbow  And each of us is unique Some colors aren't even in the rainbow Uniqueness doesn't make you a creep  Some Colors Aren't Even in the Rainbow 🌈 + 🤡  by Ephraim C. Art's built in the highest sky But it gives the world a why It makes its way right down to earth And with beauty's hope answers its cry The world can be a better place Where we do more than sigh In us lives something higher Than a passing urge that dies The body is a thing of earth With its own loud kind of why But the mind is a more nuanced guide That brings color to our grey days, our struggles and our tries . The body is a passing thing, they say That cannot defy time  But there's a thing that's timeless  It comes down from the sky It is a thing called beauty It outlasts all urges wild  It can't be defined with simple words  But it's love in disguise The mind is a funny thing It cannot walk, just fly It's powers can be hard to see  But it fights not with guns or fists but insights kind and wise  from Beauty's Hope  🎨🌹  by Kristen's dolly and Ephraim  C. There's a heaven within us Where kindness never slept  The God within us knows us All we ever thought or felt  He knows how hard we've always tried All the effort that's unseen  We've chased the truth with our whole mind Like a treasure in a dream  For dreams are not just things that sleep  But where hope wakes to a new scene  And leaves behind the things the world can keep Its despair-driven schemes The heaven within's a heaven that's real  But of a human kind  Its height is made of the ideals That form the human mind  The God within is love and like a dove  He holds peace in his wings  And though he flies through far-off skies above He knows that when he walks on earth, himself's what he must bring He became human and he died they say They say a strange strange thing  He became one of us they say To teach our souls to sing But God is just a symbol, a disguise  For where humans must start We're not minds floating in the s...
To others you're an other But more deeply you're a sister or a brother Each of us has just one self And uniqueness is our wealth But we're all part of just one humanity There's just one sky, one land, one sea From what we have in common we can't flee Humanity's a shared identity Though outwardly we're things of earth Subject to death and birth In a shallow fight for turf and sovereignty Inside us there's a light That will never end in night A light called All We Can Together Be It lights the path to peace, the path to love The path of the dove above And leaves below the hateful hawk's superiority All We Can Together Be Is a light that's warm and bright It brings the poor blind earth new sight it's ruled by reason and not might inside us there's a height, a dignity That belongs to you and me To the friend and so-called enemy To everyone we'll ever meet or end up seeing It was there before each one of us... Before All You-Or-Me-ing...
thank you gloria thanks for helping all your sisters  to escape the grip of misters  before you helped, men owned women you helped each woman see that she was her own true human  and women too can and must be free before you helped, rape was a secret  that they carried to their grave unless the rapist was a madman  who leaped out from a cave thank you gloria  thanks for helping all your sisters and all your brothers too  to see the "gun" that a man bears is not what's sovereign even men to peace need to be true  thank you gloria to gloria steinem r.i.p.  by ephraim c. levine
Love has no opposite Nothing escapes its detection It stands for connection And all things are connected There's nothing outside love In all we touch and breathe and see It belongs to you and it belongs to me To those we know well, the one we'll never meet To the outcast that the wall shuts out, the ones stepped on by feet Hate's not love's opposite For hate is disconnection And in a world governed by connection hate's an impossible feat Love represents unity It knows no division It rejects nothing at all and is wide as the sea Even to hatred love reaches out Offering to heal it with sacred sympathy The heart that embraces others is one With the mind that comorehends unity The heart that knows, the mind that feels share an identity They are the one and only key To all we touch and breathe and see All We Touch and Breathe and See 🗝️ by Kristen's dolly and Ephraim C. inside there's a high place i call it My Sky it's no hard-to-find place for it's truly mine the world is a wide place where all ideals die it's a despairing-cynic's-cry place and it is not kind inside there's a fine place it holds every why it's an i-love-what's+true place truth my deep soul binds an i-love-whats-true place 🙏🏠 by ephraim levine and kristen's dolly
Just one moon waxes and wanes And there is no other sun For through shame as well as fame It sets and rises just the same And shines on those who lost and those who won Humanity is single Though it sings and rings and jingles In you and me and all those with whom we mingie Like a clanging gang of cymbals Just above a peaceful hum We, you see, all share an essence From north to south to east to westness And though our differences are real and precious And in them we are invested In our shared nature our restlessness is done -Kristen'sdollyandEphraimC.Levine
There can be peace on earth I read it just today I read all things that come to birth To peace can find their way There can be peace on earth I saw it in a dream I saw that every hope we share Can do much more than seem There can be peace on earth I heard it on the news I heard it's coming any day It's a thing we just can't lose But I looked out at the world What I saw was war and hate Maybe there's something we must DO, I thought For peace to be our fate Maybe we should work together And treat peace as a thing And stop defining life as war And make the shared earth sing There can be peace on earth I read it just today But we must act together And that without delay There can be peace on earth I saw it in a dream For dreams are not mere things that sleep But where ideals awaken and shout down the cynic's schemes There can be peace on earth I heard it on the news In a report about a world Where all souls are in tune I heard that love can win But we ...
I've never been to heaven I hear God and dads live there On earth I just have Mother What happens to kids who have no dads? Sometimes I get so scared Mother says my father went away He just couldn't make it back She says there was some kind of war But I just have my mother and who I am I cannot track... But Ephraim!
The hawk brings war to birth The dove brings peace on earth We cannot know our worth Unless we put love first The cynic spreads despair The idealist says to care Without hope we cannot cope Despair is born of fear Truth requires no proof We know the sky is blue The liar denies peace, love and hope Are part of me and you The knower knows beyond what's known He knows apart from form Before knowledge was ever born He and truth were simply one True words point beyond words The wind's not seen though heard Truth can be seen only with eyes That know first things, nothing second or third Nothing Second or Third from Intuition Just Knows by Kristen's dolly and Ephraim C.

i've searched the land, the sea and sky and peace i do not find but there's a place where peace is found it's the world we share inside there's a world we humans share inside where war is not a thing it's a worid i call Togetherness And there our shared heart sings there's a world all people share inside where love of peace prevails it is not seen as cowardicr but proof we deeply care there's a world we humans share inside where peace flies on unembarrassed wings where cynics have no wings to flide idealists the truth bring a world we share inside 🌍❤️ by kristen's dolly and ephraim c. levine
