There's cruelty on earth

And hate war and fear

But we need not roam earth 

A place full of tears 

To find what we need

It's kindness, I swear 


Kindness is a light inside us

A bright thing that's near 

Cruelty is just blindness

Let's open our eyes and start to care


Let cruelty do its worst

We'll hold onto what's best 

We need nothing from earth 

Kindness is the soul's breath


Kindness won't be found 

On an earth that's a stone

Like the sun kindness is 

A light that is warm


Let cruelty roar and bare its fangs

We're not beasts but human

Kindness is a thing we're born with

Every man, every woman


Jesus said to answer cruelty 

With kindness and it's true

You don't have to believe me

In your own heart you'll find proof


Some call Jesus a king

Who will rule all things

But in your heart there's a Jesus 

Who rules not by force but with love that sings


Cruelty is a liar

And though its lies sting

Let it do its worst

Kindness the truth brings


Kindness bears cruelty

From a place above

It won't descend to it

Just lift it with love


Earth can't end its cruelty

Until kindness it's shown

Cruelty's cycle must stop

The responsibility's our own


Cruelty's a noise

A chaotic sound

Kindness is music

The sweetest that's found ❤️🎶🎶🎶
