The soul's a thing that's holy

Is it an idea or a fact?

There's a single me only

My spirit cannot be hacked

The soul's a thing that's holy

Is it an idea or a fact?

My spirit isn't lowly

Nothing central do I lack

The soul's a thing that's holy

Is it an idea or a fact?

I do not mean it coldly

I don't come two to a pack

The soul's a thing that's holy

Is it an idea or a fact?

The spirit's not mine only

You have one; don't give it back

The soul's a thing that's holy

Is it an idea or a fact?

Ideas, like facts, are holy

Together they fill one sack
